This package has been created by Frank Kster <frank@debian.org> from
the sources of tetex-bin_2.0.2, in order to provide libkpathsea3 for
packages that still need it, while teTeX-3.0 does no longer contain
sources for it.

The sources of tetex-bin where downloaded from

ftp.dante.de:/pub/tex/systems/unix/teTeX

To create libkpathsea3, tetex-bin_2.0.2.orig.tar.gz has been unpacked,
stripped of (most of) the files not needed to build libkpathsea, and
repacked again. The "upstream" version number 2.1 has been chosen to
ensure that the package version is older than any package generated
from the sources of tetex-bin_2.0.2.

Because of this stripping, the "individual parts of this distribution"
under copyright and licensing below are, as far as I can see, no
longer left - there's only the GPL'ed teTeX scripts and the LGPL'ed
libkpathsea.

Copyright for tetex-bin:

teTeX is copyright by Thomas Esser (1995-2003).
libkpathsea is copyright by Karl Berry, Kathryn
Hargreaves, Olaf Weber and Thomas Esser, see texk/kpathsea/AUTHORS for
details.
