  • geodetic_datum (string, required) - the geodetic datum (also called 'map datum'). For example, Google's KML uses 'WGS84'.
  • lat (numeric) - latitude
  • long (numeric) - longitude
  • alt (numeric) - altitude
  • alt_unit (string) - unit for the altitude (e.g. 'meter')
